Your captain will take care of every aspect of running the boat, including developing a custom itinerary for your group, maneuvering the boat, and raising, lowering and trimming the sails for maximum performance and enjoyment. He is happy to teach guests eager to learn, or let more experienced sailors help with the boat's operation. Your job is to do as much or as little as you please!

ESCAPADE typically sails the beautiful azure Caribbean waters and iconic ports of the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, St. Martin/St. Barth's, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, depending on season and bookings, however our crew is also able to create custom itineraries for a reasonable fee.

Unless you have specific places you know you want to see, feel free to just relax and leave all the planning to our knowledgeable captain and chef/first mate! They know everything about the local area and will help you craft the perfect itinerary for your sailing vacation.

Yes. Your private yacht chef will customize the menu around any dietary restrictions or specific preferences you or your guests may have, and will make every effort to comply with any other special requests. Before your trip, you will complete a preference sheet which will help the crew understand your specific dietary and schedule desires.

Our crew can assist you with any accommodations to help your trip be as relaxing as you want it to be. We work with several local service providers to include spa days off the boat at partnering resorts, or may even be able to arrange massages or other specialized services on board.

There is so much to do and see in the areas we sail that it is extremely unlikely you will ever be bored, but if you're concerned about having enough to keep you busy, just notify our crew so that we can adjust your itinerary to better meet your expectations.

Our yacht is set up for onboard snorkeling and guided SNUBA experiences, however if you would like to scuba dive during your adventure aboard ESCAPADE, we work with preferred dive partners who are specialists in the area and fully equipped to help you dive safely and enjoyably within your skill range.

Typically we can assist guests who may be prone to seasickness with finding an effective preventative prior to boarding. Please let us know at the time of your inquiry if you think this may be an issue for anyone in your group.

We highly doubt it! Each cabin has space to walk around, and several windows which offer light and panoramic views, and which can be opened to allow for fresh breezes.

Safety aboard is, by far, our top priority. We don't have specific age restrictions, as we feel that every child is different, but we want to make sure everyone aboard has a positive experience. We find that guests seem to struggle most with children between 7 months and 4 years old, so we do like to discuss the concerns related with having kids of this age aboard prior to booking. Both crew members are, of course, up-to-date on all safety and life saving training required for their position, but parents and guardians must be aware of risks and watch over their children carefully at all times.
